From the client's side of the table to building AI

I started my career in wealth management, helping individual and corporate clients plan their money. I enjoyed the analysis more than anything else — so I earned my FRM, and on the side co-founded a small education centre teaching students science and maths.

Then I left finance to study artificial intelligence in London, graduating with Distinction in 2020. That switch is the thread through everything I do now: I understand what the business needs before I think about what the model does.

Since 2022 I've worked in data at a Hong Kong fintech, from analyst to Lead Data Scientist to Head of Data. My work covers AI products and agentic applications, ESG data and methodology, and data strategy.

Outside work, you'll usually find me travelling, on a badminton court, or out with a camera.
